Michael Sturgis
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael Sturgis has more than 16 years of leadership experience building solutions and guiding executives at top-tier insurance companies. His vast knowledge stems from his specialization in driving business performance for the property and casualty personal and commercial lines claims industry.

Prior to establishing TenPoint Insurance Solutions, most notably, Michael served 9 years with CCC Information Services. Michael’s various roles including Vice President for the claims outsourcing division and Vice President of National Accounts, have prepared him well to ensure success for his TenPoint clients.

Michael also worked over 7 years for Great American Insurance Company, managing personal and commercial lines claims. Michael served in the United States Marine Corps during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.

Michael’s unique background, having come from the insurance industry and managing claims outsourcing enterprises, augments his knowledge to facilitate clients' improvement of their bottom-line.

Daniel Barrington
Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer
Daniel Barrington’s 15 years of insurance experience ranges from personal and commercial claims to marketing, sales, and operations for property and casualty industry leaders. Dan’s expertise is driven by his background in both claims outsourcing and strategic marketing with an emphasis on super-regional and regional carriers as well as self-insureds and municipalities.

Dan most recently served as Regional Sales Manager for Grange Mutual Insurance where his achievements were recognized for growing sales and profits. Dan also spent 8 years at CCC Information Services, first directing sales and operations for the outsourcing division, then serving as Director of Major Accounts. Throughout his tenure with CCC, Dan developed and fostered long-standing relationships while assisting executives in achieving their key business objectives.

Prior to entering the insurance arena, Dan served 5 years for the Hamilton County, Ohio Public Defenders Office.

Dan’s comprehensive experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, coupled with his information services insight, led him to creating TenPoint Insurance Solutions, serving in the role as Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer.

Brad Johnston
Chief Legal Officer
As an attorney, Brad Johnston has an established nine-year legal career with a wide range of specialties including advising corporate clients on commercial litigation, creditor/debtor relations, asset-based lending to intellectual property and corporate structure.

Prior to Brad’s legal career, he worked in sales and management for the world’s largest privately held building products supplier with widely recognized achievements in sales profitability. Brad served in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.

The blend of Brad’s military leadership, business knowledge and achievement in the legal arena, makes him an ideal fit for his role as Chief Legal Officer for TenPoint Insurance Solutions.

Joe Pietrangelo
Board Member and Business Advisor
Joe Pietrangelo is an insurance executive with 20 years of experience in building high performance teams. He has been instrumental in the development of visionary, strategic and tactical objectives for Progressive, Zurich, Farmers Insurance and Infinity Property & Casualty.

Joe most recently served as President of Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation, East Region. Joe’s skills include business planning, problem solving, project management and overall general management of bottom-line results.

Joe will serve as Board Member and Business Advisor to TenPoint Insurance Solutions. His invaluable experience in the insurance industry brings much counsel and knowledge to the TenPoint Board.

John Miner
Board Member and Business Advisor
John Miner is an insurance executive with over 24 years of service to the property and casualty industry. He is accomplished in roles as diverse as Executive Vice President and Regional President at Infinity Insurance; Division President at Great American Insurance and Head of Corporate Marketing for Chubb Insurance's personal lines division. He has demonstrated successes in start-up, turnaround, and growth acceleration of multi-product, and multi-channel organizations.

John’s strategic approach to building a business is reflected in his recent role as President of Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation’s central region. John played a key role in their IPO and early business plan formulation before assuming his operating role as Regional President. John was often accredited for his broad range of responsibilities.

John serves as Board Member and business advisor to TenPoint Insurance Solutions. His vast experiences and strategic vision proves to be an unmatched asset to the TenPoint team.

Doug Thomson
Board Member and Business Advisor
Doug Thomson has more than 26 years of leadership experience in the legal and recovery arenas. Doug is founder of the law firm Thomson, Zimmerman, and Johnston. Doug’s legal background, coupled with his business fortitude, makes him an invaluable asset to the TenPoint Insurance Solutions team.

Doug served as Mayor of the City of Milford and is an active member of multiple Chambers of Commerce, including the Executive Round Table for Clermont County, OH. Doug is also an accomplished author of inspirational novels.

Doug’s distinguished career also includes guiding Structural Dynamics Research Corporation as their General Counsel. Doug brings trusted expertise to the TenPoint Insurance Solutions team as Board Member and Business Advisor.
